Privacy policy
Last updated: October 8, 2026
Kanba ("we") provides the Kanba service. This policy explains which personal data we process, why, and what rights you have.
What data we process
- Website: the data you submit in the contact form (name, email, company, team size and message) and the IP address you send it from.
- Application: each account's name, email, language, time zone and password (stored as a hash); the content people create (projects, tasks, comments and files); and technical and security logs (sign-ins, IP, browser).
Why we use it
- To answer your request and, if you hire us, to install and maintain the service.
- To provide the application's features: email notifications, daily digest, AI assistant (only if enabled) and integrations configured by your organization.
- To protect accounts and detect misuse.
We do not sell personal data or use it for advertising.
Where it is stored
Each client has its own installation on the server of its choice. Application data is stored on that server and its database. Emails are sent through the email provider configured for the installation; if the AI assistant is enabled, questions and the minimum data needed to answer them are sent to the model provider (Anthropic), never attachments.
Cookies
We only use technical cookies needed to keep you signed in and to protect forms. We do not use analytics or advertising cookies.
How long
While the account or contract is active. Deleted tasks and projects are permanently erased after 30 days, and contact requests that do not go ahead within a reasonable period.
Your rights
You can request access, rectification, erasure or objection by writing to keiner.caicedo@gmail.com. If your account belongs to a client organization, that organization is responsible for the content it manages and we may forward your request to it. You may also lodge a complaint with the data protection authority of Colombia.
